Microsoft does not support using this GUI or netcfg to uninstall protocols or built-in drivers. Instead, y ou can unbind the driver from Network Adapters either by using this GUI or the PowerShell cmdlet "Disable-NetAdapterBinding." This is effectively the same as uninstalling the driver. Dec 22, 2013 · Now back to the original issue at hand. To reinstall the Client for Microsoft Networks, you first need to open the Properties window for the network adapter. Click Install, and select Service, then there will be only option for “Flash and Printer Sharing Service for Microsoft Networks”, select it to install. Starting with Windows 10, version 1803 and newer based device or computer, you can't uninstall the Client for Microsoft Networks or other network components. May 08, 2017 · Install / Reinstall Client for Microsoft Networks. Client for Microsoft Networks is an important Windows networking component, allowing user to access all kinds of network resources. If you accidentally removed Client for Microsoft Networks or if it stopped working for some reason, you’ll be unable to open network locations and shared folders. Wow, thanks for the tip guys! I uninstalled the Client for Microsoft Networks, and my boot time seems faster. I don't have any real evidence to support this claim, but my connection seems faster too.
